So here is another attempt fix Pact Magic Warlock to allow more spell casting per day without significantly increasing the Warlocks power. 1. Change Pact Magic so doesn’t recharge on a short rest. It instead only recharges when you cast a 1st level Warlock spell “Draw Power” that is always prepared and doesn’t count against your spells prepared (known). It is a ritual with a normal cast time of 1 minute and only vocal components. You may use this spell twice per long rest without suffering any adverse effects. Each time you cast it beyond 2 times without taking a long rest you forfeit a hit die until you complete a long rest. If you have no hit die remaining you instead take 1d8 times number of times spell has been cast since last long rest necrotic damage that can’t be reduced and your hit point maximum is reduced by that amount.
2. Mystic Arcanum’s moved out of invocations but still start at level 3. Total invocations have been reduced back to 8.
3. Eldritch Master allows you to cast Draw Power 3 times per long rest without negative effects and reduces the to ritual casting time to the normal casting time.
4. Finally add invocations called “Awaken Power (x level)” that gives you a long rest spell slot of that level. Awaken Power 1 would be available at 5th level with no prerequisites. Awaken Power 2 would be available at 7th and have the prerequisite of having Awaken Power 1. Awaken Power 4 would be available at 11th and would be the highest level of Awaken Power. At 13th Greater Awaken Power 1 becomes available with the prerequisite that you took Awaken Power 1. It would give you another 1st level spell slot with a long rest recharge. At 19th Greater Awaken Power 4 becomes available completing this set of invocations. These spell slots are there own thing and not subject to multiclass calculations. This would take all 8 of a 20th level characters invocations to get all of the Awaken power spellslots. Using this would give the Warlock 2 spell slots of each level 1-4.
With 8 spells offered through mystic Arcanum, and 8 spell slots offered through Awaken Power if this isn’t enough additional optional Spell casting I’m not sure what would be. Technically this might be too much considering you would have 4 5th level spell slots that are rechargeable with a one minute ritual at level. That’s more spells to cast per day than a wizard. Yes it would take all your invocations to achieve this but it should have a cost.
Do you spend only 1 hit die for a recharge of all your pact slots? It is very little cost, more compared to when you do not have these. Maybe spend as many dice as slots recovered +1, so you won't be able to reload more than 2 times without consequences (You shouldn't need it at those early levels, either.), not without taking a toll on necrolotic damage and reducing your max health at later levels. levels 1-2, such as reducing the cost if you still have any unused slots.
I don't know if I like that "Awaken Power" can consume ALL your invocations, and perhaps, together with the Mystic Arcanum's and the spaces of long but rechargeable pacts with your ritual, it is too much, but in general terms your proposal could be close to a best performance of the warlork.

I did Awaken Power that way for the people who want to be full casters, but also play as a warlock. I don’t believe most would ever go that far. I don’t believe you should get to be a full caster with a pact blade, lifedrinker and agonizing blast. It’s already bad that you could have all these spells slots as a tome lock you can have the best cantrip in the game with the +Cha and cast more spells per day than a Wizard at 20th lvl. The Wizard still wins the versatility battle, so I think it’s okay.
And yeah my cost for recharging pact slots more than twice per long rest is probably far too lenient. I was debating cutting the hit die and just making it necrotic damage from the start. That might be too harsh. Thank you for your input and critique.
