I'm running a new campaign with 2014 rules and somehow one of the PCs has 2 fighting styles showing on his character sheet. I see he clearly picked Defense as his style but for some reason Unarmed Fighting is also on his sheet and he doesn't know why or how it got there. Any help?
Could you ask the player to set their character's privacy setting to Public (it's on the Home tab of the character builder, way down at the bottom) and then post the link to the character here? That way other people can see what's going on and be better able to help.
You say you're using 2014 rules, but are you sure the player created their character using the 2014 Fighter class? One way this could happen is using the old Variant Human species option with the new 2024 Fighter class, and taking a second Fighting Style feat for the extra feat Humans get. (This doesn't work with the 2024 Human species though.)
Also, at the risk of stating the obvious, are you sure they're not just seeing the Unarmed Strike attack option that all characters have?
