It is a very important tool, in my last stories I am giving the main idea of what I want, and I am adding certain details until the story is perfect, likewise with the environment created I am dividing it into scenes, then I make the maps it costs a little to make them create them as I need them but in the end I achieve it, then I make characters or enemy bosses with the stats and attacks that I want and in the end it takes me 3 to 6 days to have everything ready.

Dungeon mastering is an art to some extent, and using AI I seriously doubt is an improvement.
I see why people might do that- creating adventures and worlds is work, why not just get AI to write it for me? But I think that if you truly get into the game you’ll realize it’s not that difficult to be a DM, and some people wing entire sessions with nothing but an outline. (For example, an adventure can be as simple and easy as The Delian Tomb, all of Matthew Colvilles channel is a great example of how you really don’t have to be spending hours and hours just to play)
If you’re playing D&D with heavy AI usage, to me, that’s almost changing the game your playing. At that point it wouldn’t be the same TTRPG. Using AI.. it sort of makes the game lose some meaning. For example, if ChatGPT wrote your backstory, your characters personality, their development, well, then they’re not you’re character. When I go to play D&D I’m going to play with my friends, and their creations, a collaborative world. I’m not going because I want to play with 5 ChatGPT text channels
I think using chatgpt in D&D is adjacent to seeing a movie by AI, or a book by AI. Who cares? If you were truly a bookworm, or truly a cinephile, truly a musicical enthusiast, you would understand what I mean when I say AI is a hollow approximation of any art related hobby. Though D&D isn’t quite like those other art forms, is it really so far removed? D&D involves elements of writing, improv, acting, drawing, and storytelling.
If you somehow find enjoyment in games with AI worlds and plots, good for you?
In that case, I create stories that can be played for six hours straight, but I follow a short sequence. For each story, I make different maps, custom bosses according to the group's level, treasure lists, traps, etc.
I generally make about four or five scenarios. It takes me a long time to generate the map I want with the AI, but it turns out perfectly.
It takes me about two weeks to create a story.

I’ve been working on teaching ChatGPT 4 how to be a decent Dungeon Master. Would love any feedback.

Please forgive me if this isn’t the appropriate place to post this.

You’ll probably have better luck in the “Dungeon Masters Only” forum. I’d suggest Advertisements, but no one ever actually looks there.
