I'm currently thinking of running a dungeon meshi x minecraft dnd campaign and right now I'm in the map making phase. I could just make a basic rice layout, realism map - but I want to make a map like the ones in minecraft.
I always loved the way the pixels on each level of the maps looked and also the little graphics that banners leave on the maps. So I wanted to do something like that, with castles and dungeons having graphics in the same sort of style as those maps.
Couldn't you just use MineCraft Creative mode? Magicavoxel is the 'art tool' option that's been out for like over a decade. Otherwise search "Voxel" on Steam and itch.io here's bound to be a dozens of Minecraft clones as game or utility
