I'm looking for suggestions for the campaign that I'm going to run soon. It takes place entirely in the Feywild. Here's the basic idea:
There's a city in the Feywild called Mossbottom - the city itself is safe, and the population consists of elves, gnomes, satyrs, hobgoblins, and bullywugs. The king is a bullywug named King Clunk XIV. The campaign begins in Mossbottom Palace - King Clunk has invited the party, a group of knights who serve him, for lunch to discuss something. He says that recently a group of four mysterious fellows have conquered four towns at the corners of the realm, and are wishing to make their way to the centre town, Mossbottom, and overthrow King Clunk. The four towns that have been conquered are each in their own kingdoms - Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. The players must go to each kingdom, defeat each villain, and save each town. The villains are Eladrin of the season that they are trying to conquer. Some encounters along the way are:
The gate to the Spring kingdom is locked. The man who usually has the key to open it has been robbed by a bandit, so to retrieve the key that opens the gate, the party must find the bandit who has stolen the key.
A hag in the Autumn kingdom is offering prizes and gold to the party if they are able to retrieve a mysterious ingredient for a potion she is brewing.
Does anybody have any suggestions for my campaign? Anything I should change? What encounters or quests can I add to it? It's feeling a bit bland, and there aren't many battles or encounters planned for it, so advice and suggestions would really help. Thanks!
I actually think you have a pretty strong concept for the campaign so far. I like that it has a grounded direction that will keep the players on track instead of getting lost in things that could sidetrack them.
I think one thing that always needs to be kept in mind is how the story is personal to the PCs. When I was reading the premise my first thought was "why is the king calling upon the PCs and not some other heroes". You might have a reason that I don't know about. But I think it is important to think about either way because the stakes are always higher when the PCs have some sort of personal investment in the evolving story.
Maybe the villains are related to each one of the PCs. Maybe the PCs are in debt to the king, and their families future will suffer if they do not complete this quest for the king. If there is a personal investment, there is a sense of urgency to complete the task.

What do you think?

The party must find a way to break the curse that has been placed on the Winter kingdom, which has caused the citizens to become frozen in time.
