If a race says: (Speed: 30ft, swimming 30ft). Does it works the same as: (Speed: 30ft, swimming equal to your walking speed)?
I get the idea of some races with a slower movement speed on certain areas, such as 30ft on land but only 25 on climb or swimming. But when both are the same speed technically, what comes different from those different sets or words https://vlc****/ ?
The trend seems to be to regularise character species that grant swimming or flying speeds so that the additional speeds are stated to be equal to their walking speed.

Because there are class, sub-class, and racial bonuses to movement.
In the first case, a class upgrade of +10 will increase ground speed but not swim speed. In the second, ground speed and swim speed would be equal.
