reading through the monster Manuel 2024, im seeing tons of monsters that reduce hitpoint maximums. Alot of them, do not specify when the effects ends. Some of these, are very low level monsters, which leads me to wonder if there's a low level way to deal with this, or does this have the potential to force a young adventurer to retire.

Per the rules on resting in the 2024 Player's Handbook, all maximum hit point reductions are removed when you finish a long rest.

This is the main one. If you're looking for something faster, there's Greater Restoration.
While being able to recover from a hit point deficit is one of the benefits of a 'Long Rest', quite often the trick is to be able to move sufficiently far enough away from the monster(s) and the lair In order to be able to have one or more 'Long Rest' periods. Otherwise, the perturbed monster(s) might simply chase the heroes all the way back to the sleepy village from which the heroes set out and then waylay the home base of the heroes.

Wow, huge change from requiring a significantly powerful spell to a long rest. Definitely helps keep the game moving along, though.
