I need to leave my D and D group because one of the players made sexual innuendos during the game to me in character. I told him to stop. He wouldn't . As my cleric, I would respond to his comments with snark. I believe don't dish it, if you can't take it. For example, he opened his mouth and showed me his tongue, and asked if I wanted a kiss. "Or we have a lot of sexual tension. I would say we have tension." DM (he's new) never said anything. He claimed his last night that I was negative to his character, and I constantly picked on him. I am not perfect. I admitted that I would say things to him (character) , especially when he would hide behind our Paladin after he started a fight; fought over loot when he was in the other room, and offered Salmon to the Werebear( the character was unaware about his werebear status). I wasn't allowed to mention that he called a Paladin a coward because nobody volunteer to fight a warrior with hand to hand combat. I volunteered to do it to move it along.
This was my first campaign. I had never played before I only played because my co-workers didn't have enough layers. Previously, the DM has killed any players with multiple absences. I think I might want to try another group Also, I have purchased dice, a miniature, and a couple of manuals. I am currently a level 6 Life Cleric. I might want to play my character elsewhere, if allowed. So, how can I leave the campaign?
Step one: reading this it looks like you haven't talked to the dm about how much you dislike this dynamic, if you have and there was no change then its time to try a different group. If you are just up and leaving take your char with you the dm will sort it out in the fiction. If you want a session to say goodbye, it sounds like your char is fed up with their char and would leave at the first sign of civilization, or just head to town on their own if you are close enough.
As far as playing the char elsewhere, that is up to the new group. If you try gaming in a local gameshop doing Adventurers league you could remake the char at lvl 1 (matching their build requirements) and keep the background/personality/anything not level dependent, if you find a new group they may ask you to use a char in the same level range as them which may involve leveling up or down, doubt any group would turn down a life cleric ;)
If you don't want to play in that campaign any more, it's as simple as just tell the DM (and possibly the other players) that you don't want to play in the campaign any more.
D&D is a game that we play for fun - if you're not having fun, then why play? :)

As for the character, that's your character - if you have left the campaign, the DM has no power over you.
If it's a D&D Beyond campaign, you can just click the LEAVE button on the campaign screen (if you think there is the possibility of the DM being petty, you could do this before talking to them).
When you find another group to play with, talk to the DM about what you'd like to play - the new group might not be at 6th level, so you'd need to work it through with the DM to adjust your character up or down in levels / equipment / items, to fit with the rest of the players.
An important concept with D&D campaigns is that most DMs will want their players to generate new characters for the campaign, but that doesn't mean you can't just generate the same character. I've played the same Elven ranger in 3 different campaigns, because I really like the character - each time, I have in effect just created a "new" character, but with the same name, personality, background etc.
