Hey, I just wanted to get people's opinions on whether they think there should be more room for homebrew content on D&D beyond? I know it's a lot of work for the team and I think this product is fantastic as it is, but I'd just love more! I also came to ask if you did get to, what kind of homebrew sections would you like to see?
Personally I want homebrew standard equipment, I'd love to add in more weapon, armor, rations, food types, kits and all sorts of mundane equipment into games and be able to let the community curate which additions have been the best for their games and which are boring/ broken/ irrelevant. I also think it'd be cool for there to be a whole section for writing new CLASSES rather than just subclasses. I don't think it'd be too harmful since it would have to be approved by staff to be published if it was copyrighted and what not, and the community could support the content they want to see more of.
Homebrew classes and base armor and weapons are all planned. Food and tools don't need to be homebrewed (or at least don't need new homebrew tools) you can use custom items on the character sheet (or make common wondrous magic items).

What're your guys' opinions?
Homebrew classes are indeed planned, though they are a long-term plan-- So it's hard to say when that will happen.
