So i am in a new campaign with people from my local comic store and i have been wanting to think out how i can make my battle master fighter a super fun and effective at turning baddies into puddles of red juice.
My character is a Dragon born with high strength. After going to a shop i ended up with stone armor that puts my AC at 19 and two spiked tower shields that give me 4 AC, each.... so my AC is a staggering 27 if I carry both.
I want to ask and see if anyone knows on how to make this build more effective, or if anyone has any recommendations for a battle master.
I'm assuming there's some kind of homebrew going on there, because typically you can only benefit from one shield at a time. The rest could be accounted for assuming the armor is magical Plate +1 and the shields are magical Tower Shield +2. (Although that's some pretty hefty equipment unless you're at fairly high level.)
Also, even if you were holding two shields, what do you attack with? Bashing with one of the shields would at best be an improvised weapon doing fairly low damage.

Well it is hard to say since your group is using homebrew and house rules.
Battle masters are more about versatility and consistent damage than high damage. I'm not even sure how you will attack if you have 2 shields.
