So I have often thought about doing a character that took no more than a single level in each class before I could take another level in a class I already had. But I think it would be too underwhelming. So I decided to make one with as many classes as I could fit, while making it as interesting as I can. I came up with this:
3 levels in fighter, barbarian, ranger, monk and warlock. 2 in druid, and 1 in cleric, sorcerer, and rogue. I even came up with a backstory for how he came to accumulate all of this knowledge between classes.
From a combat perspective, I think he might be a little underwhelming. But from a role playing perspective I think he would be awesome.
What are some of ideas for some multi class characters? I challenge you to make a character using at least 6 classes while only using features in the character builder. Share your result here!
He works as an armor smith making armor for a dwarven army. They keep making him join these random groups so he can have "real world" experience for what they need in the way of armor. He finds or is gifted a magical hexblade and also has the bloodline of a warrior god. His class levels represent his training with the different factions. Clerics, Paladins, and sorcerer levels represent his training with the church groups. Levels in rogue represent his training with the scouts. Barbarian and fighter levels for his work with the grunts. And finally his levels in bard and warlock represent his training with high command.
The cheesiest character build for your high level battle royale. The purpose is to deal as much damage as possible in a single turn. You should be able to K.O. most characters except for the raging barbarian.
