Question is pretty much in the title. How do I go about homebrewing a subclass feature that adds a stat modifier to a specific type of spell, for example, adding your intelligence modifier to any spell you cast that does acid damage. Or adding your charisma modifier to any druid cantrip you cast. etc etc.
I have the Draconic Bloodline subclass, but after scouring through it on the homebrew editor, I can't find anything regarding the added damage you get with Elemental Affinity - which is making me think it's baked it somehow to the Dragon 'ancestor' you choose. Annoyingly, I don't have the Light Domain Cleric, so I can't see how it's done for that subclass (with the Potent Spellcasting feature).
Ahhh.. dang, yeah that's sort of what I thought might be the case - that it's not possible to homebrew it, and that it's 'baked in' to some specific things.
I hope I'm wrong! but meh. Ah well, thank you for letting me know anyway :)

Any help would be hugely appreciated, thank you!
The only thing I know is that there is a 'modifier' called 'Cleric cantrip damage'.
It only works with specifically Cleric cantrips, though.
