Hello! So I'm running a campaign right now and I've had this idea for a monster in my head ever since I started playing DnD. So they are basically enchanted evil Mannequins that freeze in light. That's basically it. Any ideas for the chase scene and other mechanics?
A lot of things could happen with this, for example the players are going through a dark cave, when they find the end there is only a pile of bones. suddenly these mannequins burst from the walls and start chasing them back down the cave, as this happens some rocks fall from the ceiling opening a skylight and one of the mannequins is unfortunate enough to stumble into it, the players seeing this actively destroy the cave ceiling while still trying to escape their pursuers. It could be a great climactic event in the main story or perhaps the unfortunate conclusion to a side quest.
Okay, I like what I am hearing. This will be a main event in the 3rd chapter of my campaign and this takes place in a sort of large Boutique/Castle thing. And no, they are not the main boss of the area.
