Hello everyone! Here's my take on one of the Mystics subclass the Order of the Avatar from the UA documents. The biggest gripe I had with this subclass was their description which talked about manipulating emotions of both allies and enemies but it didn't hinder your enemies at all and gave your allies some questionable help. With this, it revolves around an aura and you can do things with that aura depending on which one you choose and your level. Comments and critique is always welcome.

"Mystics of the Order of the Passionate delve into the world of emotion, mastering their inner life to such an extent that they can manipulate and amplify the emotions of others with the same ease that an artist shapes clay. These mystics vary from oppressive tyrants to inspiring leaders who are loved by their followers. Mystics of this order can bring out extreme emotions in the people around them. For their allies, they can lend hope, ferocity, and courage, transforming a rag-tag fighting band into a deadly, unified force. For their enemies, they bring fear, disgust, and trepidation that can make even the most hardened veteran act like a shaken rookie."
Below is listed the rules for choosing The Order of the Passionate formally called the Order of the Avatar as a Mystic Order from the Unearthed Arcana revision documents by Wizards of the Coast with some retooling by F. J. This subclass focuses on either helping your allies or hindering your foes that are immediately around you. While very support focused, this order is based around being in the heat of battle and is good for those that want to get into the front lines and stand with their fellow fighters and help.
Warrior of Emotions: Starting at 1st level when you choose this order, you gain proficiency with medium armor, shields, and one martial weapon of your choice. Additionally, whenever you make a Charisma based check that you are not proficient in, you can choose to use your Intelligence modifier instead of your normal bonus.
Aura of Emotion: Starting at 1st level, you can emit powerful emotions to affect your allies or your enemies. As a bonus action on your turn, you can choose an aura of hatred or comfort (your choice). This aura extends to a 10 ft radius centered on you and is blocked by total cover. This aura lasts for 1 minute or until you are incapacitated or die. The aura you chose gives the following benefits:
You and allies within your aura of comfort gain +1 to their attack and damage rolls
Enemy creatures within your aura of hatred lose -1 to their attack and damage rolls
You can only have one aura active at a time. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of 1). Once you expend all of the uses, you cannot use this feature again until you finish a long rest. Starting at 14th level, this aura increase to a 30 ft radius.
Instinctual Psionics: At 3rd level, your emotions have grown to the point where you can act quickly to events happening within your aura. The aura you chose gives the following benefits:
When an ally within your aura of comfort is targeted by an attack roll, you can use your reaction and spend a number of psi points to increase their AC by that amount against the triggered attack and any subsequent attacks until the end of the current turn. You cannot spend psi points above your psi limit and you can wait until after the creature rolls the d20 before deciding to use this feature but must decide before the DM states the outcome
When an enemy creature within your aura of hatred is targeted by an ally's ability or spell that requires the creature to make a saving throw, you can use your reaction and spend a number of psi points to decrease the creature's saving throw roll by that amount against the triggered saving throw. You cannot spend psi points above your psi limit and you can wait until after the creature rolls the d20 before deciding to use this feature but must decide before the DM states the outcome
Emotional Discharge: Starting at 6th level, your emotions have expanded to automatically hurt or protect others within your influence from your residual psychic energy. The aura you chose gives the following benefits:
Whenever you gain temporary Hit Points from using your Mystical Recovery feature or another similar feature or effect, allies within your aura of comfort gain temporary Hit Points equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of 1)
Whenever you spend psi points to use a Psionic Discipline that does not deal damage to a target, enemy creatures within your aura of hatred take psychic damage equal to the amount of psi points spent
Feelings of War: At 14th level, your raw emotions can bolster those around you to fight a losing battle or shake victors to their very core. The aura you chose gives the following benefits:
You and allies within your aura are immune to becoming charmed or frightened and if you or any of your allies are charmed or frightened when they enter your aura, the effect is suspended for the duration of your aura. Additionally, you can use the Help action as a bonus action and can use the Help action with any allied creature within your aura to give them advantage on their next attack roll or skill check
Enemy creatures that start their turn within your aura of hatred must make an Intelligence saving throw against your Discipline save DC. On a failed save, creatures within your aura are considered frightened of you. If a frightened creature ends its turn outside of your aura, they can make another Intelligence saving throw to end the effect. On a successful save, creatures are immune to this effect until you spawn a new aura
