Druid subclass and I'm not quite sure how to get it right, but I'll try to describe it.
The druid gets damage reduction on the next hit it takes when it has hit a creature with Shillelagh on its turn. The damage reduction is euqal to proficiency bonus + half Druid level rounded down. Not like temporary hit points or a total buffer until next round, just on the next attack that hits the druid.
As there is no dice involved with this, I have been trying it out as both a spell and an action. However, I cannot seem to either scale this value when it is a spell and the level override function does not do the trick as an action. What am I missing?
Set the spell to spell level if your manually adjusting it, and edit it manually per level. And your saying that it doesn't work? wait 20 mins after updating, click the blue "save" button twice. theres millions of users.
So I've set up the spell as a heal just for now. Works fine on level 6 which is the feature. Set to scale with player level. Modifiers: Bonus hit points, Fixed value = 6, (Primary=false)

It should be something like this:
Level 6 = 6
Level 8 = 7
Level 9 = 8
Level 10 = 9
Level 12 = 10
Level 13 = 11
Level 14 = 12
Level 16 = 13
Level 17 = 14
Level 18 = 15
Level 20 = 16

At higher levels:
Level 8, selected previous, Additional points, fixed 7
I only get the heart without a number(0 when clicking).
Scale at Spell Level not character level and adjust it manually.
