I created this in a 1/2 hour so it is a very basic idea. Is it too powerful? Should I make it legendary and add more stuff? any ideas for a cool feature? I apologize if something like this has already been created.
The Ghostly dagger:
Weapon (dagger) very rare (requires attunement)
This dagger is the trickster's dream. Created by the gods of magic and trickery this dagger is never where it seems to be
This dagger has 10 charges
-As a bonus action you can spend one charge and cause the dagger to teleport to your other hand (if you have one) it leaves behind an illusionary copy and the real dagger is invisible until you attack with it granting you advantage on the attack roll on the same turn. You may attack with the real dagger as part of the same bonus action.
-Similarly, you can use a bonus action and spend a charge to throw an illusionary copy of the dagger; the real dagger is invisible until you attack with it, granting you advantage on the attack roll on the same turn. You may attack with the real dagger as part of the same bonus action.
-If you are within 60 feet of the dagger and 3 feet of earth or 3 inches of stone or a ½ inch of lead isn’t in the way then you can use a bonus action to summon the dagger back into your hand.

I love drow, rogues and Chinese weapons. I mean come on, rope darts are awesome.
My current character is a drow shadow monk, with a "unique" honor code (give him some time, he's working through some stuff). He also sucks on the socialization side of interacting with all other living creatures. which is very fun to RP.
