If you select a dragon slayer weapon when making a magic item it has the damage-additional and then you put in the 3d6 or whatever in the box. If you make a new item the additional selection is not available so you can not make a say humanoid slayer weapon. I suppose you can work around this many ways but why if you made the additional type why did you not include it in the homebrew section?
Not every modifier is made available to us regular users; some are only for the staff to use.
But you can certainly use Dragon Slayer as a template and make whatever changes you want to the Damage - Additional modifier, so long as you don't remove it.
