I’m playing a path of the Zealot Barbarian who is terminally ill and pushing himself past his limits due to receiving an incurable dying curse from a hag in a past encounter. Essentially this gave him a form of magical cancer for lack of a better word he’s not looking for a cure only to spend his last days with his adopted family who is Unaware of the illness reliving the glory days and adventuring of his youth before the bill comes due.
I’m trying to think of ways to play this both thematically and mechanically that will eventually end in this character letting go and passing away. My idea was after each Rage ends I Con Sav. The DC Increases by 1 for each rage I use. Also each time a Con Save is failed the dice moving Up from 1D6 to 2D6 and on Any thoughts or suggestions.
