One of my players is in the stages of creating a new character, and has decided on a tiefling sorcerer who was cursed when her father made a deal with a succubus that sacrificed his first born child, granting her a silver tongue
the main idea i was thinking of is abilities themed around better charms: maybe draining hp from people they have charmed,, or some minor shapechanging for charisma benefits?
they wanted to play a sorcerer as its a class they have never used before even in bg3, so “just play a bard” isnt really an option
Well, would it have to be a Subclass that does the thing? Sounds to me like a custom background and feat would be more appropriate given that backstory. The player could then take one of the existing subclasses and perhaps reskin it if necessary. The background and feat would be far simpler to ‘brew up, and would prevent it from being anything too, too powerful. Would that work?
