So I am doin a Solo DnD game themed as an Isekai, so it's all set up to be a bit broken for the PC with his capabilites. However, I am afraid of either going too far or not far enough. So I would like some opinions from others.
His ability is a form of Wildshape that instead of replaces his Stat Block, instead buffs it. What this means is that with any Beast or Beast-Like Monstrocity that he is able to absorbe the essense of, he gains a buff when he uses that form (Similar creatures are absorbed together, not sure if I want to make that cumilative or not.)
Take for instance, the Wolf. While in Wolf form, he gets:
Str: +1 Dex: +2 Con: +1 Wis: +1 AC: +1 (Natural Armor) Keen Hearing and Smell Pack Tactics Claw Attacks that strike twice (Dex based, 1d6) Bite (Str Based, 1d8, knocks prone on a failed Str Save, Crits when dealing over Half Remaining HP)
In other words, he gets all the positive modifiers as buffs, all the abilities and every expected capability of being a humanoid who now has combat focued animal features.
If you're the DM, it's up to you, really. But I do think it's a bit too far if you let the PC have this ability work just like you said it does - eventually, after 10 or 20 different monsters he'll have so many bonuses that his ability scores will reach 20 or 30. I think it would be better if the ability score bonuses the PC gains would be limited, maybe according to his level. I also think it's a bad idea to include natural AC in the bonuses, because even if it's just the natural armor part, if it stacks it will eventually stack with the PC's dexterity and will be too strong.

So enjoyably broken or can I go further?
