This is a Subclass for the Rogue I've wanted to make for a while. Rogues in fantasy are supposed to be rule breakers and scoundrels yet D&D's Rogues have an approach to combat that is extremely limited compared to other Martial classes. Especially when it comes to their choice of weapons.
The two Level 3 features are my attempt to give the Rogue some more weapon options and to try to bring those options into balance with each other, as much as possible. My testing and calculations show a very marginal difference between most weapon styles due to the effect of the Superior Tactics feature, though some styles such as Dual Wielding Hand Crossbows do fall a bit behind on a round-to-round basis. But, this is the best I could do with this version.
The Level 9 feature is my attempt to give Rogue a more direct and powerful benefit to their party members while giving the player options. The Level 17 feature greatly improves this feature, though not to the point where it overshadows what other classes can do in Tier 4 or earlier.
The Level 13 feature gives Rogues what all other Martial Classes (other than Ranger) get in Tier 3, a meaningful damage increase. I have no idea why Rogue's don't usually get one, but this is my attempt to solve that. It's a worse version of Extra Attack that requires giving up Sneak Attack damage and actually landing your Cunning Strike effects.
Let me know what you think, especially if you test it out at your table. I want to keep iterating on this concept some more.
Feedback and further testing wanted.
