Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

While most Rogues avoid the battlefield, you thrive in the heat of battle and have learned to use your cunning and reflexes to gain a tactical advantage on enemies. Your superior skills and tactics shine in a coordinated group, as you set up opportunities for you and your allies to dominate the enemy. Whether you stand on the frontline or direct your allies from afar, your role as a cunning tactician means that the battlefield is always in your control.

Level 3: Battlefield Training

Your time on the battlefield has given you specialized training. You have proficiency with Medium Armor and Martial Weapons, and you gain a Fighting Style feat of your choice.

Level 3: Superior Tactics

You no longer need to use a Finesse or Ranged weapon to use Sneak Attack and whenever you use a Cunning Action in combat you can use Sneak Attack on your next attack without needing Advantage. You can still use Sneak Attack only once per turn.

In addition, after using a Cunning Action your weapons become improved until the end of your next turn. Your Ranged weapons and melee weapons without the Light property deal an additional 1d12 damage on hit once per turn, and your melee weapons with the Light property gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls. These improvements increase when you reach Rogue level 9 to 2d12 extra damage and a +4 bonus to attack rolls.

Level 9: Tactical Command

When you successfully inflict a Cunning Strike effect on an enemy in combat you can immediately take a Reaction to issue one of the following Command Options to an Ally within 30 feet of you that can see and hear you. You can use this Reaction a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus and you regain expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.

Cooperative Strike. The Ally can make an attack against the target of your Cunning Strike with a weapon or Cantrip.

Tactical Reposition. The Ally can move half their movement speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks.

In addition, you can use Strength or Intellect for determining the saving throw DC for your Cunning Strike options instead of Dexterity.

Level 13: Opportunity Strike

When you successfully inflict a Cunning Strike effect on an enemy in combat using your Action you can make a second attack using a weapon you are proficient with. You don’t add your ability modifier to the extra attack’s damage unless that modifier is negative, but the attack can be made against any enemy, not just the target of your Cunning Strike.

Level 17: Master Tactician

You now regain uses of Tactical Command on a Short or Long Rest. You can now also issue a command to two allies instead of one when you use Tactical Command, and you have two additional Command Options.

Brace for Assault. The ally gains a +5 bonus to their Armor Class and saving throws until the start of your next turn as long as they do not move.

Target Vulnerability. The target of your Cunning Strike has Disadvantage on the next saving throw they are forced to make due to a spell or effect used by the chosen ally until the start of your next turn.
