I created a custom version of the Invisibility spell to be added as a racial trait for a custom race I am creating. Usage is twice per LR and available at level 1. What do I do to provide two slots for the spell in the character sheet as opposed to the USE button that just greys out? I am thinking along the lines of the usage slots for Rage as a Barbarian or Bardic Inspirations etc.
I think you would be better served by simply adding the Invisibility spell as a feature for the race for level 1, and give it a "Limited Use" of 2 with refresh on long rest.
Yu can do this by selecting the "Action" submenu in the feature creation page. Once you input the necessary data (name of the spell, known "Yes", always prepared "Yes", uses a spell slot "No", IIRC) and save, when the pages refreshes you will have a "Limited Use" option appear at the bottom, where you can input the amount of uses and refresh condition.
This way you don't need to create a separate spell, you get the boxes you mentioned, and the race is easier to use, IMHO.
