In short I'm going through some of my homebrews in order to rebalance them and I feel like I've hit a roadblock with the school of tinkering. As a whole I'm fine with how the class is balanced, but the level 10 I just feel like adding an effect that would bolster the spell, which I have several ideas for but unsure which way to go. Below I've provided a small list was ways to alter the spell that I feel would work. I just want someone else's opinion, because as of right now, I'm thinking of implementing the last option of each targeted object counts as 1 less. So, Let me know what you guys think, if that's a good/bad idea, or if you come of with another way to that could work.
When you cast this spell, each animated object gains the stats of one size larger up to huge or gain the stats of one size smaller down to tiny. (which is a better version of how I have it now)
When you cast this spell, the number of objects you animate increases by 6 (the reason why I chose six was so they could baseline animate two huge objects rather than 1 huge and x number of other types, while still keeping other options to use)
The objects you animate gain bonus damage equal to you proficiency bonus. (it's a simple one, but it's used in other subclasses for a reason)
The targeted objects count as one less (ex. large objects count as 3 objects instead of 4) down to 1. (This allows the spell to create more animations without having to increase the count that the spell does)
