I am in the process of adding a Hedge Wizard subclass and one of the features is "Each time you would learn a new wizard spell from gaining a level in this class, you can instead learn two cantrips in this way." I am a bit in over my head in regards to knowing how to add this as a feature without simply adding a class feature for EVERY level past 2 that grants 4 cantrips. Any advice would be appreciated!

This sounds kind of unbalanced, but maybe you could add an option to each time you get a spell.
Begone foul troglodytes for if not, I Rorsch the Dwarf will eat you instead.
Maybe a 3:2 ratio?
