Looking for feedback on if this Elf subrace is balanced.
Thanks!
Ability Score Increase
Your Dexterity ability score increases by 1 and your Wisdom ability score increases by 1.
Swift Reaction
You can spend one hit die to take a Disengage or Dodge action as a bonus action.
Defying Leap
You have a jump height of 6 + your Strength modifier in feet and a long jump equal to 3 + your Strength score in feet. You can make a running long jump or running high jump without needing to move before the jump.
I would strongly suggest removing the hit die requirement. They can use it a number of times equal to your dex modifier. That would be a lot better for balance.

Yea I was play off ki point mechanic by turning hit die into a ki style mechanic. I like your idea. Makes it better at lower levels, but not crazy beyond lvl 5. Then reset after a long rest. Cool thanks!
just looking at jumping here vs overall balance but don't think that Defying leap is balanced with itself - taking someone with a str of 16 as an example (+3 mod)
high jump you're increasing the distance by 50% (from 6 per rules to 9 for your grasshopper-elf).
long jump you're increasing the distance by only 19% (from 16 per rules to 19 for your grasshopper-elf).
and of course those percentages change depending on the character's strength: person with 10 strength gets 100%/30% increases.
i'd just increase both by 50% over standard math (or treat it like a Grung and give flat values)

I just added 3 additional feet to high jump and long jump.
High jump is normally 3 + STR mod and long jump is normally STR score.
Average normal high jump is 6 feet, my elves is 9 feet
Average normal long jump is 10 to 11 feet, my elves is 13 to 14 feet.
I get the boost difference with gravity against them and all, but these guys defy gravity in their movements through leyline enriched foods. I want their height jump to be abnormal.
Good technical eyes!
