Trying to create a homebrew magic item (ring) that adds one additional die of hit points for heals (for example, 1d8 becomes 2d8, 2d10 becomes 3d10, etc.). Is there a way to do that? I would guess it would be a healing modifier type that works like the damage one, but don't see the option.
Thanks,

The character builder will never know what healing ability you are being affected by so, I would recommend creating Custom Actions that add the different die types of healing. Just create the ring as a rare(for example) and use a Description in the Basic Information like: This ring boosts the healing of spells and abilities cast on/by the attuned creature by 1 die of the appropriate type.
I ended up creating homebrewed healing spells by copying the base spells and just adding an extra die. Re-named them to "cure wounds with blessed ring of healing" for example. That seems to work for now, but it'd be nice to have a homebrewed item mod add an extra die, whatever die that the spell/weapon uses.
