I don't know much about cyclops, at least not more than about giants in general, but the first things that surprised me looking at your cyclops are the proficiency in perception, I would have imagined a disadvantage on perception check that rely on sight rather than a proficiency due to the lack of depth perception with a single eye. tho doing that would probably need an additional benefit somewhere to balance the race. Except that, I like the race!
Ohhhh yeah! *facepalm* Thank you so much for catching that- I'm not sure what I was thinking when I made that. I will definitely change that and add something else to balance it out.
I would actually go in the other direction and give the eye some kind of cool, unique ability or contribution to skills. Like seeing much farther than other races. Or immune to being blinded b/c it has evolved one really hearty eye.
Screw physics. It's a magical creature....go nuts.
If you do want to stick closer to traditional mythology, there are alternative versions to the brutish monster types typically portrayed. I think they were also portrayed as crafters; making things like Zeus' thunderbolts and Poseidon's trident. So that could provide some inspiration.
Hi! I recently homebrewed this Cyclops race, and I was wondering what you think. Feedback is appreciated!

You could also increase the unarmed strike die to a d6 and not give a skill proficiency. This would incentivize using it more, as a d4 is kinda weak.
