Hello and thank you for reading this post. I am currently looking for players interested in playing a kind-of home brew campaign with twists and turns.
Will be running D&D 5e
Numbers of players: 3-5
Looking for in-person, but will accommodate for online interactions
A healthy mix of hack-and-slash and dialogue
I am located in the Eastern Time Zone of the U.S.
Availability will be discussed when a full-party is assembled
I have been playing/running campaigns for 10 years
Anything else you wanna know, just reply with a question. Or, if you are an interested player, reply with your character concept.
I am interested however I can only do online as I am in Central time. I'm interested in playing a cleric, but I was wondering about the setting, what our circumstances starting out are, ect.
I am currently working on an all-evil campaign. What are your thoughts on possibly joining? We would be playing on Sundays (time is still up in the air). Also, the play platform would be through Discord. Let me know your thoughts and if you are still interested. Fell free to send me a PM if its easier for you.
I'm a newer player of DND, and I've really wanted to get some more practical experience with the game. That said, I do have a fairly solid grasp of the mechanics, so I'm not a complete newbie. Can you give me any more information on the setting? I like the idea of an all-evil campaign, as it's hard to role-play as an evil character in a neutral to good party, plus it creates a lot of nuance in the ways that "evil" could play out.
I'm just curious if any races are more or less prevalent, which gods/deities will be most active, and what kinds of themes are you planning to use?
Just for information, I'm in the central time zone, I'm 29, and I should be free on Sundays, at least in the afternoon. I have a lot of character ideas built up, so once I have some info on the campaign, I can put some better ideas together.
So, a little about the prevalent races in the campaign. I accept all base races: humans, half races (half-elf, half-orc), tieflings, all that. Also, if you would like to play a more exotic race, like a full-orc, or anything like that, I will accept that as well. A more exotic race will have their limitations, for example, a full-orc will be more feared and "watched" in more populated areas, like towns and cities where they are not common. Obviously, humans are the most prevalent race in the world I am building for this campaign. As for classes, play what you are the most comfortable with. I like to mix combat and dialogue as evenly as possible, or I will lean more towards one or the other based on game play by the players.
Deities and "other-worldly" powers: the whole D&D Forgotten Realms Pantheon is what I will be more focused on. If you have an idea of what your character will worship that is "off-the-grid" so to say, shoot me an idea and if I like it, I can work with it. Obviously, the good and lawful deities are more worshiped in temples, while the not-so-good ones are more worshiped in private residences where they can preform their rituals in more-or-less a private setting.
As far as the setting goes, with an evil-based campaign, chaos and debauchery will be more-or-less the main focus of the plot. The ending I have planned is quite epic and I don't even have all the details hashed out. I do like to make the main players a little over-powered, but for good reason as the more chaos you spread, the more good-doers will hunt the party down. As far as the players go, I have a player wanting to play a Warlock, if I remember correctly a Bard, and a possible Fighter. I would recommend building something that compliments the party. The alignment restriction are all-evil, so Neutral Evil, Chaotic Evil, and Lawful Evil. I will accept Neutral alignment, as long as you know that your alignment might go darker.
I believe that is it, if I left anything out feel free to shoot me a PM with more questions.
May the dice be ever in your favor

Best of luck running this campaign!
