Looking for player to join a level 9 group, for a short arc that may bring us to level 13 by end of December than starting a new low-level campaign in January.
The mini arc will likely revolve around undead and the current party consists of a Warlock, Cleric (War), Rogue multiclass, and a wild magic sorcerer. The game takes place weekly on Thursday’s at 7-11pm EST, and is played using Roll20 and discord.
If you are interested, please dm with the following:
Style of play (i.e. min/max, flavor/RP orientated, combination)
Desired balance of combat and rp (i.e. 60combat/40RP, 30combat/70RP)
Short synopsis of the character(s) you’d like to play for the mini arc (class, race, alignment, mini backstory, etc.)
Hey I'm Joe, I'm pretty experienced with dnd and laid back as playstyle goes. I'm down for w.e really especially if it's a short arc. I like an even split between combat and rp, but as I said I'm pretty laid back and can roll with whatever the group throws my way. I can play any class, it looks like you guys need a frontline and I'm cool with that. I'll make up a backstory as well if you think theres a spot for me.
2. I like a healthy balance of combat, RP, and party member interaction. (40/40/20)
3. I have several characters in the bank. I think the following two would fit best in the current party:
Snud (Kobold Paladin)
Snud was only a hatchling when the most important experience of his life happened. Deep in the Kobold tunnels, a dragonborn paladin on some unknown quest came forth and smited Snud's fellow clan mates. Snud was immediately awed and could not get the sight out of his own mind. Deciding that he too was a dragonborn (technically true....) Snud decided to venture out and follow the ways of the paladin. A god must have had pity on the feeble creature and decided to elevate Snud and make it a paladin. After several years of training, Snud is ready to stand tall in defense of the innocent (who happen to be twice his size). Though mocked, no one could deny the kobold paladin's resolve, and he has become a folk hero to many. Snud someday hopes to find this dragonborn paladin and together go forth on many adventures.
UhWat (Dwarf Barbarian)
Little is know about UhWat, whatever happened to the dwarf has left literal scars on his mind. UhWat was brought to a morgue where they found the dwarf was still alive with a severe wound on his head made by a heavy bladed weapon. UhWat has no memories of his past and very little comprehension of himself or his surroundings. As such, people take him for a simpleton. His name was given to him as he tends to answer any questions by "Uh What?". Uhwat has been wandering the country side since, walking the roads until he passes out from exhaustion (he has no awareness), and foraging when he remembers he is hungry. He has been hired as an extra hand to help rebuild a small village after a severe storm, and is surprisingly handy with a hammer, so much so that the village decided to keep him as a permanent laborer, paying him by providing him a shack to sleep in and 2 meals a day. Time passed and the village got attacked by a group of bandits, several villagers resisted and UhWat was dragged into the conflict. He was able to wrestle a maul for a bandit and almost singlehandely took out a sizeable chunk of the invaders. The villagers seing how violent UhWat can be, decided that he was no longer welcomed and sent him on his way with a small coin purse and the maul that did so much damage. UhWat has a large scar on the top of head above his left eye, roughly 5 inches long.
Style of play - I like a mix of all different styles and not any one in particular.
Desired balance of combat and RP - Somehwere closer to 40combat/60RP
Short synopsis of the character(s) you’d like to play for the mini arc (class, race, alignment, mini backstory, etc.):
I would like to play a Shadar-kai Blood Hunter with the Order of the Profane Soul. Leneas is a deathly-pale elven male who has numerous tattoos and piercings on his face. He stands at an even six feet tall and weighs around 235 lbs. He keeps his head shaved on the sides with a red mohawk that travels down his back into a braided pony tail. His studded leather armor has no sleeves and his bare arms have tattoos as well. He carries a double-bladed scimitar and a light crossbow for weapons. His deity that he worships is the Raven Queen and is strongly devout to her faith. He considers himself to be Chaotic Good, but will follow any job if it pays well and doesn't conflict with his religious beliefs.
