I'm working on rewriting my homebrew fantasy campaign for D&D 5e and will soon have the first set of scenarios drafted. I'm looking for volunteers to playtest them when they're ready. I need 4-6 players willing to run through them multiple times with different class mixes to see what breaks and needs adjustments.
Since we are not playing through the entire campaign these will be drop in games open to whoever is available, up to 6 players. The game will be run in Maps + Discord. Players will be asked to generate characters in D&D beyond for "Vanilla Team" and "Gonzo Team" starting at 3rd level. Vanilla team will have limited options using only the 2014 PHB. Gonzo team will have every option available in the Extended Rules and draw from either version of the PHB; you can go crazy with your build with practically no limitations. I will make pre-gen characters available for Vanilla team play as needed.
I may ask players to playtest new homebrew materials such as new classes, subclasses, species, and backgrounds. I will take all feedback seriously.
My goal is to eventually offer the material on DriveThruRPG or elsewhere and if that happens I will credit you as a playtester.
If you're interested, please reply to this thread. I will take up to 12 playtesters. Anyone above that will be offered a spot on a wait list. I can't guarantee a spot in any particular session, it will be first come, first seated. You must join my Discord server in order to play. We will be using a voice channel and a speech-to-text app will be running as needed to try to accommodate players with hearing disabilities.
I am interested in becoming a playtester my discord handle is whyldchyld.

I am not knew to DND, but I am very knew to the server online experience. I must admit it has been quite a few years since I played. I am excited and eager. I will make mistakes, but I am willing to learn. Not I am big on following rules once I understand them. Retired military.
Now that I think about it, I would ask volunteers to not share your discord handle publicly unless you really, really like spam. Just let me know of your interest and I can send you a join link via private message here in the D&D Beyond forums.
I'm in Michigan, so ET (GMT-5). I work weekdays so preferably weekends but depending on availability we might do short drop-ins M,Tu,Th. Still working with the group to establish a good time. I want to try to limit sessions to 4 hours or less on a weekend and no more than 3 hours on one of my available weeknights.
I want to run specific scenarios through twice. Once with a party of vanilla build characters so I can see if they're too easy or too hard. Then a second run where players can run any gonzo, munchkin, or broken builds they want to see how a party of creative players can break it. You won't be limited to playing just two different builds unless you want to; since I'm not running the full campaign yet we don't need to worry much about continuity. *That* means if the party wants to deliberately break the encounters, they can plan for it. All I ask for is feedback.
I am still interested I could do weekends but not weekdays. Starting anywhere between 6 and 9pm EST which would be best don’t want it to run super long either 3 hrs would be perfect. Sat or Sun
I find myself short of playtesters and I am inviting anyone looking for a drop in game to participate. I have 1-3 slots open for today's game from 5 - 8 PM Eastern.
