Hi all! I’m a newbie dm looking for two players for a game I’m planning on running in my homebrew setting. The synopsis is as follows:
“The Age of Light is Dead."
A decade ago, the world of Talaria shuddered beneath the birth-cry of an unspeakable horror—the Voidcaller, a being of fathomless hunger, whose very presence unravels existence into nothingness. Not destruction. Not ruin. Oblivion. One by one, kingdoms, cities, and continents have been swallowed by its creeping darkness, leaving behind only hollow silence where life once thrived.
Now, only six bastions of civilization remain, their flickering lights besieged by the ever-encroaching void. The Voidcaller’s forces—twisted heralds of annihilation—scour the land, snuffing out hope wherever it dares rise. And should these last cities fall, the material plane will unravel, dragging all other realms into the abyss with it.
But fate is not yet written.
Deep within the warped horrors of a Voidcaller prison camp, five prisoners—each marked by tragedy, bound by desperation—find themselves at the heart of a dying world’s last gamble. They were taken for slaughter… but something has changed. A whisper of rebellion. A crack in the darkness.
Will they break their chains and rise as the world’s final defiance?
Or will they become the last witnesses to Talaria’s end?
we will be starting at level 2, no multiclassing until level 3, and for the first session you won’t have any gear (but don’t worry you’ll get your supplies by the end of the session).
