--Myself-- I currently run/am part of two other campaigns, and so this game may be bi-weekly just to inform any prospective players. Only so I can keep making more content for the games I'm already in.
--Campaign Information-- Will run on Wednesdays at 6PM(GMT+1) over discord, but the time can be adjusted if all players require.
The first and most important thing to know about this game is it's a Homebrew Hardcore style game. By this I mean the following changes: You will start as a child, as such you will start with nothing, and your background and backstory will be made by the choices you make. You can pick your starter class, however you must learn its abilities, gain its saves, and have your character learn skills as you play. Either by learning it through your adventure or being taught (there's already teachers in grasp as you start, for those of you worried). Saying this, you might also pick up abilities specific to other classes (example: rage. Perhaps someone you care for is hurt and you go berserk - Rage unlocked). I must emphasise the difficulty will be higher as well, so teamwork is heavily recommended especially in the first levels.
It WILL be a campaign, but death will basically be final - since the continent you will be playing in will be one that is only a few decades into magical advancement. Resurrection magic is available, but its cost matches its reward.
--Requirements-- =Adults/mature humans only. I don't think anyone wants to be the only 12 year old in the room. =No newbies. It sucks, but I have a lot to keep tabs on without doing someones sheet for them as well. =If you cant make the time, inform me. If you don't let me know then everyone wastes their time. =If you have any questions or doubt my judgements on a ruling: Speak up. I will not, however, tolerate book worms. Sometimes I'll give you advantage or do something out of the vanilla rules (more often than not tbh), but I don't want someone giving everyone a headache about it. =Majority rule: If everyone is irritable by a decision made by another player, or wants another player removed then they will be dealt with accordingly. Despite all this: Have fun. Seriously, it's what it's for.
--Story-- The story begins with four children. Living in the quiet riverside town of Hallowgate. The continent is split between two factions: Arberest and Trostind. They were at war for hundreds of years, Hallowgate being the unfortunate land pressed tightly in between the two. Eventually a great silver Dragon with his disciples came with an ultimatum: "Bring peace to the land I birth my children, or I will bathe the land in crimson." They accepted, receiving a reward in return for continued peace: Magic and fertile crops to Trostind and its people, Strength and long life to Arberest. Hallowgate was the site of this peace accord and the final battle between the two, tensely they've stayed at peace ever since.

Wow, this is wild. I *just* wrote a backstory for a character whose concept I was working on. And I was thinking, "Wouldn't it be fun to rp this character's backstory and formative (level 0) years as his powers come online."
Link comes with some caveats. He is based on a sorcerer subclass 'Stone Sorcerer' that was released in UA but never made it to one of the books. The main gist of the class is that it gives the sorcerer an unarmored AC equal to 13 plus Con modifier (but not Dex). So Link is a high Con, reasonable Cha, dimwitted, and otherwise average Hill Dwarf sorcerer that can fulfill the tank role, or at the very least a capable frontline gish.
Dunno how the GMT vs PST thing would work, but your campaign sounds really cool and it'd be cool if we could see if there was a fit.
