Are you actually falling slower or are you soaking the damage. And is that ability shared with people you are grappling or carrying. If you can share it, are there limits, and can you choose not to share it like in the case of a hostile grapple. If you are actually falling slower I'd assume its shared.
Although the title actually says slow fall, the feature only talks about damage reduction and not slowing down the fall. You could say that the monk knows how to fall in such a way as to best cushion a fall. A bit like stunt doubles do on movie sets. So no, it cannot share its ability to reduce damage. As written in the feature, it only reduces damage to the monk and not to others.
A notable example is the “feather fall” spell, where it is specified that the fall is slowed and the speed of the fall.
Although, in my opinion, one could turn a blind eye to a small creature clinging to the monk. If I were the DM, I would ask it to make a dexterity or acrobatics check to see if it can use its feature successfully.
Level 4: Slow Fall
You can take a Reaction when you fall to reduce any damage you take from the fall by an amount equal to five times your Monk level.
Feather Fall
Choose up to five falling creatures within range. A falling creature's rate of descent slows to 60 feet per round until the spell ends. If a creature lands before the spell ends, the creature takes no damage from the fall, and the spell ends for that creature.

As the name says it's a slow fall. The higher level you get the slower you fall and less damage you take.
