I was just thinking about the interaction between the Hands of Healing (level 2 ability) and the periapt.
noticeably the periapt is rather vague in wording and I quote the relevant section:
" In addition, whenever you roll a Hit Die to regain Hit Points, double the number of Hit Points it restores."
Which means in theory if I "channel my ki" through the periapt to do Hands of Healing, I should be able to double the heal both to myself or to another creature I heal.
The periapt is when you roll a Hit Die for recovering your hit points. This is normally done during a short rest.
The Hands of Healing just restores hit points to somebody else and you determine how much by rolling your Martial Arts Die. This is not a Hit Die, even if it would be the same type like d8.

Thoughts?
