The engineer that helped you out of the small crash before walks over to you. "Chief engineer Toby." He puts out a hand. "How can I help?"
"You have an engine? Preferably a dragonfly mini
"We don't have a mini, but we do have the new dragonfly max engine... It may be a little big, but I can make it work."
"Thanks, also, do you have any scrap metal? Most of the ship is custom outfitted, and regular parts don't always work
Toby walks over to another ship. Slightly larger than yours, it's make is Fluff industries. "The owner of this one left without it, so..." He pulls out a drill, takes some bolts out, and the Fluff ship falls apart. "There you go. Scrap metal."
"Thanks"
"Any time."
Star grabs a plasma cutter, and a welder, and starts to repair the landing gear
"I'm guessing you'll want new tires? Or does this "custom outfitted" dragonfly use something else?" He chuckles.
"Vtac, so no tires. Just need to get this thing flying again, I have some friends whose ship is about a mile away, but he can't leave his post"
"Friends, hmm. They can't leave their post? Wait, are you part of some private army or something?"
"That's one way to say it, more of a mercenary group trying to protect the world from certain doom" star points to where the twinkling star is "it's been a long time since I saw that ship"
"Wait, you know of the Tavern Stars Twinkling?" He seems genuinely surprised.
"Yep, I last saw it (insert how long it's been), when the systems started to shutdown."
"Huh. You know who it was made by? Must have been a fine ship smith..."
"Don't know, my time there was brief, as I was being hunted down by a red greatwyrm, still am, though it's learned it's lesson not to come after me directly "
"A Greatwyrm? Really? Should you, you know, even be here? This is a peaceful place, not sure how happy Paul would be about mercenaries and wyrm..."
"Like I said, it doesn't dare come after me directly. I'm not here to cause trouble, just to stop it"
"You're sure it won't like... come here and eat this place? I do live here after all..."
Star sighs and bangs a panel on the ships hull. A compartment falls open, revealing a missile about 7 feet tall, "yes, I'm certain"

You realize that you've heard of a person quite similar to him, but you only know them as supernova, who is quite famous for driving off a red greatwyrm named atarlos from many prominent civilizations
"You remind me of someone I 'erd of from a retired pilot that lives here. You know of a man called Gale Jones?
Tel'chan eventually enters the floating rock, exploring as usual.
You walk through the bar, under the massive glass spire, until you reach a staircase heading down. You are about to go down it when you hear the bartender shout from behind you. "Sorry sir, can't let you down there until you take this." He chucks you a gold key with a little green ribbon attached to it. "Walk straight until you reach the first junction in the tunnels, then go left, then left again, and your room will be on the right. Room number 146. Unless you want a room up there?" He points up at the spire.
"I... think I'll stick with this one," he says, holding up the key. A tattered map appears in his other hand, and he heads down, going left twice, and entering his room, his mind buzzing with curiosity.

The room isn't one for style, but it is one thing: Cozy. A lovely double bed with the softest mattress and warmest looking blankets is imbedded into the wall. (Like something out of star wars) And the floor is covered in a soft light grey carpet. There's a little bathroom (Or restroom, whatever you call it) with a ceramic bath and a fools gold toilet. The walls are cobblestone, but each cobble is made to look like something; a person, animal, creature, building, so it depicts a story. From the calm, cream coloured plaster roof hangs two lights with beautiful indian light shades, which bathe the room in an orange light. On the bead there is a note saying, "Welcome to the floating isle inn. All meals will be served at the bar, which doubles up as a restaurant, though you can take your food wherever you like. No rooms or places apart from other guests rooms are of limits, so please feel free to explore. If you need anything just ask a member of staff. We hope you enjoy your stay."

*I love this*
Tel'chan finishes up with his map, then de-summons it and goes straight for the bed. He looks at the cobblestone walls for a while, and eventually gets back up, and heads into the hallway. Chan decides not to go the way he came, but to just get lost in the place.

You travel down many passages, until you come to a large metal door.
"I've met many people before, and I don't remember them all"
"Well, he said he flew with an incredible pilot who drove of a space dragon. Know who that might be?"
"Perhaps" you get the feeling that he does know who this is
"What ya' mean by perhaps?"
*gtg, see you later.*
"I might know the pilot you are talking about "
"You might know him? Like personally? That would be really cool, knowing a hero of so many worlds."
"I am supernova"
"..." He looks you in the eyes intensely. Then bursts out laughing. "Good one!"
"I'm serious" star pulls down his rifle, which is clearly marked with an exploding star "last time we met, I shot a missile down atarloses throat"
"You've got to be kidding me." He chuckles, but you can clearly see he's masking surprise, and even a little fear. "Really?"
"Yes, my name is star, though my callsign is supernova" star finishes mounting the new engines. And he hops into the cockpit "I'll be back, just need to return to base" star powers on the ship and lifts off

Toby salutes you, still not completely sure he believes who you are.

About an hour later, a sleek futuristic ship aproches the dock, similar in appearance to a viper mk II from Battlestar Galactica. It lands without a problem, and star jumps down from the cockpit dressed in battle gear
