"Yes, yes, yes, it is happening. It has happened and there is nothing you can do about that. However you can decide what you will do next." He reaches under the rock shelf and pulls out a small, glass, orb. He holds it in his hand and stares at it.
"Well, people will forget that we exist. Not much happens to us, but staying here too long can be problematic. There is no food and little water, so that will make our stay... uncomfortable."
He tosses the glass ball into the air and it floats up until it bumps gently against the ceiling.
"Yes, yes, yes, it is happening. It has happened and there is nothing you can do about that. However you can decide what you will do next." He reaches under the rock shelf and pulls out a small, glass, orb. He holds it in his hand and stares at it.
There is no visible escape.
Dr. Seymund sits there and begins tossing the glass ball from one hand to the other as he watches you.
"Well, people will forget that we exist. Not much happens to us, but staying here too long can be problematic. There is no food and little water, so that will make our stay... uncomfortable."
He tosses the glass ball into the air and it floats up until it bumps gently against the ceiling.
"I am guessing you want to leave?"
*Speaking of leaving, I got to go.*
"Of course, there is a way out." The plague doctor says as he watches the glass orb bob against the ceiling.
*Got to leave again.*
"I'm sitting in an oubliette. I would think that is obvious."
"Oh, those things can often be found in oubliettes. I am not sure why."
The glass ball hovering near the ceiling suddenly drops. It clatters across the floor and rolls across the ground, landing at your feet.
You see your face reflected like a fishbowl. It feels very light weight and smooth.
"They seem to gather in oubliettes like dust bunnies under couches. I have looked at them but I don't think they matter much."
"Well of course. There is almost always a way out. How do you escape from being forgotten? Think about it."
