In addition to spellcards, I always thought it would be neat for Wizards to offer additional 5E D&D cards for class abilities, inventory items, magic items, monsters, traps, etc. as supplementals to the game. This would simplify the game for younger players and provide something tangible to focus on to further creativity and harness imagination. They could also become collectibles and be offered in packs similar to Magic the Gathering game as well. Magic item cards could be awarded instead of certificates for AL. Special addition "foil" cards everybody hopes to get when they open their packs. Autograph booths at all the major conventions! Imagine going to a convention and having the privledge of getting the autograph on your card of one of the great DMs like Matt Mercer or Chris Perkins or even better, recieving a Magic Item of that game you played at in the form of a trading card with the DMs autograph! Talk about a conversation piece to brag about at your next local gathering. I digress. For monster cards, the stats are on one side for the DM and the picture of the monster is on the other side for the players to view. Just an idea I thought I would share.

Roll the dice and play the game, I’m not here to listen to your politics.
“But this isn’t right. You’re meant to charge in, sword drawn, banner flying-that’s what all the other knights did!” “Yeah, right before they burst into flame.”
Isn't there certificates for certain weapons? I think if they kind of expanded on that idea it would be cool. But it might get weighed down if they tried to do ~all of the weapons, items, traps, and such. It's not impossible, but I think that would be one of the slower things to happen at this point. Once it got started, however, it would be easy to just have the cards with the new supplemental books and things.

For AL, DMs used to hand out (or mail out) certicates and you couldn't trade a Magic item without one but they did away with it. If you look hard enough, you can find creative DMs that have designed their own cards and use them in actual games but I'm not that gifted and would rather invest in something official like the spell cards. Because WOTC is part of Magic, I thought it would be a no brainer but apparently there is more to it than taking my money.

Right now I'm in the process of creating a clay sculpt of a monument that pops up in every game I run. Its a sword that is a lot like the Fierce Diety's Sword in Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask but when you listen closely to it you hear two heartbeats. Its a plot point that popped up in a game I ran for a few friends, but then the user of the sword passed away; now the sword is a monument to him.
OR HOW ABOUT, OH IDK, BRINGING BACK THREE DRAGON ANTE!? No clue why WotC hasn't gotten Gale Force Nine to put that out after the Torraka deck, but I'm still hopeful that they'll announce it someday.

I tried to start one, I didn't get far, I lack dedication.

But the harder the hero fought, the further the world seemed to tumble away.

Hero, if you still believe in a brighter future, hold in your heart a thorn that can pierce all doubt."

Me neither. 4e would be a lot easier.

For anything that is non-standard, I use cards based on the template linked below. Since work provides a full version of Acrobat, I'm able to edit without any problems.

It would have been cool if i finished it, but stuff like that takes lots of time and printer paper.
