Who in their right mind pays 80 dolars on a game on a console that costs 450 dollars annd they don't even technically own the console if they buy it?

Hiya, there! I'm Gonzalo2, but you can just call me Gonz! (Don't ask about what happened to Gonzalo1.) I'm just an ADHD theater nerd who has too much time on my hands and too little sleep! I'm usually at Camp Half-Blood, which I moderate, and have seventeen characters on. Like I said, too much time on my hands, too little sleep.
ALSO DON'T BELIEVE BANANER I AM ON MORE THAN THEM!!!
I'm just really glad I can get Silksong, Metroid Prime 4, and Legends Z-A on the Switch 1. I'm fine with just watching playthroughs for Age of Imprisonment and Star-crossed Worlds.

*I don't want a lot for Christmas, there is just one thing I need (and I) want this for the presents, underneath the Christmas tree. I just want Nintendo (more than you would ever know), to make my wish come truuuuue... I want them to create ARMS twooooooo!*
I'm just your everyday dungeon master. Ignore that jar full of souls. And those bones in the corner are just props, don't worry. I'm definitely NOT a lich. Definitely.
My biggest problem is the whole online membership. Especially for games where the main thing marketed is the online capability (Splatoon), it feels like you bought half of the game and need to subscribe for the other half. Also, version exclusives and trade evolution pokemon are the worst. You either need to have friends or enough money for a second game in order to fill out your pokedex, and that's stupid.

Exactly. And some console games are just straight up becoming mobile games, with all the good stuff locked behind a paywall. And I already paid 60 something dollars for the game, I don't want to have to pay another $30 to get another piece of the game I'd rather pay more and just have it. At least mobile games that use paywalls are free to play from the start.

Well, for some of the DLC stuff it's ok to me, the game can totally be enjoyed without getting it, but buying it gives you more fun story stuff to do.

Some games do it poorly though, like Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Hate on Nintendo and their recent decisions. And other companies if you want.
Virtual Game cards are a hassle, right?
I don't use Nintendo (was gonna but chose to get a Steam Deck instead), but who in their right mind charges $80 for a game?
Hello! I am a perfectly sane gibberer. Hi! :D

Nintendo really made some bad decisions... With pricing, family memberships, and basically everything
