Beyond the Hellish Wastes is the southern end of the known world. It had lost contact with Alvenheim after the start of the fiendish invasion. But contact is slowly being re-established.
Istar
The Realm below the Leonin Federation used to be covered in an oasis dotted desert. Every oasis had its own Pharaohship. But now the survivors have gathered under the banner of the Great Oasis of Istar. Together, with the help of ancient heroes summoned back to life by the Pharaonic Gods, the survivors hold against the demonic tide. The most common sights in Istar are the Crimsonians (human-like with bright-colored skins), Groundlings (A race of winged humanoids) and Elderans (also called Aereni Elves, they are a race of horned elf). Rarer sights are the Reborn mummies who have been allowed out of tombs and Doomwake Giants.
The Golden Kingdom
The Golden Kingdom is the great kingdom of the Goloma, a dark race of humanoids whose origins are unknown. They have a still face with eight eyes. They are on average slightly smaller and stockier than humans. They often scare other races. Their land is abundant in Gold Mines to the degree that their capital seems near made of it.
Jura Rock
Jura Rock is the home of two rival humanoids that trace their lines back to the age of the titans. Older than even the first elves. The Saurials live in their great city of Creta, while the Trassian mountain is home to the dwellings of the Pterafolk.
Jackallands
The Jackallands are home to the Jackalweres, though many Leonin have also fled into this territory. Though the High Chiefs lead their people North, many of the common Leonin fled south instead and found open arms with the Jackalweres. It has become a custom for many high profile Jackalweres to take a second husband or wife from among the Leonin to bind their peoples. The Jackallands are actually a federation of states ruled by the Shah, but every province has their own Mansa who are mostly autonomous.
The Last Jungle
The Last Jungle is the last true tropical rainforest in the known world after the destruction in the Westsands. It is a wild place with Jaguars and great beasts. The Lords of Xibalba dance by night. No sentient race holds it, but many people find themselves drawn into its depths. People that answer the call can find little communities and a peaceful life, or they can find a quick death to the local wildlife.
The Shielded Isles
The Shielded Isles are home to the Merchant Princes. Many of the races of the North, such as humans, amazons, dwarves, genasi, lizardfolk and other sailing people have gathered here and become stuck after Father Dagon blocked the Southron Waves from the Abyssal Sea. Though the original purpose of the island was as a place for the Istarians to exile their unwanted tieflings and aasimar. The three islands that make up the Shielded Isles are the militaristic Big Shield, the mercantile Longshield and the noble Buckler.
Little Light
A strange island made of snow drifts through the Southron Waves occupied by the secretive and mysterious Yak-folk. Sometimes thought to be related to Minotaurs, they worship a mysterious being that nobody knows the identity of. Travel to Little Light is possible, but the place is dismally cold, and its people hostile. It used to be said that Yak-folk captured sailors and sacrificed them to their god on icey altars.
