In a secluded corner of the countryside, on top of a hill stands Mount Saint-Mikkel. An ancient power awakened there and since then, the region has been subject to raids by the undead. You have been assigned to solve the problem...
Baron Solreigh was surprisingly honest when he recruited you: if he offers a pouch of gold to whom will end the troubles that afflicts the mount Saint-Mikkel area, it is because it’s very dangerous. He has not received news from any of the two groups of men — one of soldiers, the others composed of its five best knights — he successively sent there. And if he’s going to lose more men, he’d rather they not be his own! Reports mention an ever-growing troop of the undead swarming the villages around mount Saint-Mikkel — an old priory and pilgrimage destination long declining — leaving only death and ruin in its wake.
Listening to the call of adventure and your lust for gold, your group of Adventurers is on its way through the countryside. After a few quiet days, you can finally see the lonely and age-old silhouette of the priory sitting at the top of the hill through the morning mist…
It is intended for a group of two to six Adventurers from level 4 to 6, for a duration of 3 to 4 hours.
There's even a video trailer for the adventure!
If you like what I do, please be kind enough to spread the word, write a quick review of the adventure, or even give me a tip if you feel it is deserved. But most importantly, enjoy the module! ;-)
I'm self-taught and try to make professional-looking products, so your support and feedback is greatly appreciated, so I can improve further.
I hope you'll have fun playing this adventure! Thanks.
Thanks for your support and kind words. I tried to convey the "OSR" vibe I like through the cover design.
While i'm here (sorry for the newbie questions), as I'm not familiar with the English/US RPG "market", I would appreciate some advice on how to best advertise the existence of this adventure: I posted here and on RP*.net, and considering the size of these two forums, I expected more views (barely10 views/day right now).
I posted on Reddit and was fortunate enough to hit 1k upvotes, so I guess Reddit is covered.
What other channels/groups/forums/websites would you recommend me to announce this adventure and the future ones?
Today, I present you a new free Med-Fan adventure called 'The Burnt Church'.
It is a short adventure, spanning over 28 pages because of 4 full-color maps (each in GM and PC version), 8 NPC portraits and several large illustrations!
In a remote corner of the countryside sits a long-abandoned, burnt-out old church. Tonight, this decrepit building will become the focus of a lot of attention, caused by its tragic past and the mystery locked in the crypt below.
Having come into possession of a key - desperately wanted for over a century by the local cultists to renew their pact of protection with the Moon Goddess - the Adventurers will have to choose whether to listen to their heart, their reason or their greed in this story; for the crypt beneath the church contains many ancient relics, but three keys are needed to access them...
It is intended for experienced game masters (GM) and for a group of two to six Adventurers of level 1 to 4, for a duration of 2 to 4 hours of play.
This adventure inaugurates Hardi's 'Detour' line, a series of short but intense adventures centred on a specific location, playable as a one-shot or easily integrated into a campaign.
It is meant to be a short read (15-20 min), that can either be played as a one-shot with little preparation, or as an element that you can easily fit into most of Fantasy campaigns: all you'll need for this one is a setting where you can place the ruins of a church in a forest, near a remote village.
Two story hooks are provided, but you can simply just mention the ruined tower bell that pierces through the forest canopy. Maybe your PCs will want – out of curiosity – to take a detour to investigate…

Hello everybody, and happy new year.
I'm a French RPG enthusiast and creator, and I've crafted "Mount Saint-Mikkel", a free full-color 26-pages adventure, with 5 color maps.
The last updated version is now available here (in English), in PWYW :
