Ahoy, brave souls! Brace yourselves for an epic journey through the legendary world of One Piece, seamlessly woven into the thrilling tapestry of Dungeons and Dragons! Picture this: an invitation to kickstart your adventure with the formidable power of Haki surging through your veins or the excitement of setting sail with a Devil Fruit of your own choosing or unique design! But that's not all—choose from a unique set of classes and items tailored to enhance your seafaring journey. Will you wield a sword as a fearsome swordsman, channel the elements as a weather manipulator, Navigate the high seas as a hybrid warrior or embrace the future as a cyborg, merging human flesh with cutting-edge technology. The possibilities are as vast as the open sea!
Welcome, esteemed adventurers, to a world adrift in the winds of time. In the shadowy aftermath of a merciless purge, 400 years post-Void Century, the world recoils from the echoes of a brutal extermination executed by the World Government. The wielders of King's Haki, known as Conqueror's Haki, found themselves either slain or coerced into servitude, leaving a void in the world for over a century. No free soul has manifested that power in over 100 years. Amidst this turmoil, the Revolutionary Army of the time, causing trouble for the World Government, adds an extra layer of chaos to the world stage.
Looking for more players! We're currently Level 12 in an ongoing One Piece D&D campaign using D&D 5e rules. If you're a fan of pirates, power-ups, roleplay, and creative worldbuilding—this is for you!
Rules: We will be playing with the rules of the One Piece Dungeons and Devil Fruits Player's Handbook (D&D 5e System Homebrew) from NaturalCrit. I do not own any of the material, and all credits go to the original creator.
Some classes or subclasses will only be available if you have a fitting devil fruit. The Devilforged class will only be allowed to use Sea Devil's Emanations Zoan Infusion unless they can obtain a mythical Zoan fruit in-game and are willing to bind it to their item. This will allow you to choose both Zoan infusion and Paramecia/Logia if the fruit permits. Sea Devil's Emanations are limited to Zoan fruits unless they can obtain a mythical Zoan fruit in-game and are willing to bind it to their item. The Devilforged class spells and abilities must originate from a mystical devil fruit or be limited to Zoan abilities unless the player can describe it in a creative way that would work in the One Piece world.
The Lunarian race will still be available but will be roleplayed as a Human with Lunarian ancestry. I will allow hybrid races, but it is up to the player to choose the rules, and the DM will decide whether to approve it or not.
I will allow every player to start with a Devil Fruit.
However, the rules for the devil fruits will be decided by the DM with the help of the player if they want to be part of the creative process. All devil fruits can be increased in power but will require a level or a feat to do so. This also means that you can start with any fruit, and you do not have to roll a random one, but the fruit will take time to control and grow in power. Players can have the same fruits (artificial fruits) if the DM allows it. I will even allow players to design their own fruit, but it needs to be approved by the DM.
You also get:
1 Legendary OR
2 Very Rare OR
4 Rare OR
8 Uncommon Haki Advancement Feats
If you do have a Devil Fruit:
1 Legendary OR
2 Very Rare OR
4 Rare OR
8 Uncommon Devil Fruit Advancement Feats
You can also mix Haki + Devil Fruit advancements!
You may trade Uncommon advancement picks for regular feats (max of 8 total feats).
Everyone also gets 1 Very Rare, 2 Rare, or 4 Uncommon extra advancements of your choice (Haki, Devil Fruit, or feats).
This is a Play-by-Post game. You can post at your own pace within reason, but I ask for at least one post every 7 days when your character is in the spotlight.
If you are interested in joining this game, please post the following details:

Character Name: Kazamaru
race: shark Fishman
class/subclass: Martial Artist
Background: pirate
Backstory: Kazamaru was born beneath the waves of the Sunless Trench, a fractured undersea region once connected to the surface world—before the World Government blasted it into isolation. His people, Shark Fishmen, were feared for their strength and hunted for sport, pressed into slavery or forced into brutal underground arenas.
Kazamaru’s clan—the Tidespine—tried to resist. They taught him the sacred art of Fishman Karate, an ancient martial style said to channel the very soul of the sea. But their rebellion was crushed when Kazamaru was only ten. His family was killed. He was taken to the surface in chains.
For years, he survived as a pit-fighter in a World Government-backed colosseum built atop a ruined marine temple—forced to battle beasts, pirates, and fellow Fishmen while nobles bet fortunes on his life. His rage grew, but so did his skill. He never lost. They called him “Breaker”—not for his strength, but for the spirit he shattered in those who stood before him.
Yet he never killed a fellow slave. Instead, he watched, waited… and planned.
When a Revolutionary raid finally hit the colosseum, Kazamaru snapped his chains and turned the tide of the battle with his bare fists and tidal fury. But when the revolutionaries offered him a place among their ranks, he refused. They fought for freedom on land. Kazamaru had other plans.
Kazamaru stole a warship and rebuilt it with salvaged sea-stone and whale bone—christening it the Riptide Fang. He freed slaves across islands, raided Celestial Dragon shipping lines, and made enemies of Navy Vice Admirals and Shichibukai-aligned privateers.
He never ate a Devil Fruit. “The ocean is my ally,” he says. “Why would I betray it for power I didn’t earn?”
His crew is made of the cast-offs of the world: escaped Fishmen, revolution-wary ex-nobles, even a giant sea snail with a grudge against the World Government. But Kazamaru leads not with fear or charisma—he leads by unshakable will. His mastery of Fishman Karate is legendary; his blows ripple with water and force, and his body endures punishment like bedrock.
Whispers now speak of something darker.
He’s begun hunting sealed ruins, looking for records of a time before the Great Purge, when free souls still awakened Conqueror’s Haki. Kazamaru believes his ancestors once wielded that power… and that it’s not lost, merely buried.

Im new to the one piece version of DND so if I made a mistake in my post Im sorry and we can work it out and fix it
It all looks good. There are some small things that need to be changed or at least modified a little in the backstory, but rule-wise, most seem to be in order.
So I went back to check the source & dang, it's more complicated than I ever dreamed & half the text is blacked out. Is there another way to access the reference?

I rolled a Monk that hails from Kara-Tur. He carries a gourd that's filled with rice wine at all time. Let me know if he could have a spot in the campaign.

Dang, that's a lot to take in. But here are my rolls.
All good. Take your time :)
The rolls look good :)
I made a Hybrid (Sorcerer) using draconic powers because I thought that was closest to the Lunarian Hybrid listed.
But I haven"t picked a dragonfruit or Haki power. Do they take the p;ace of Feats or are they different?
