I am running a campaign in my homebrew world for 4 to 6 players. However I have not received any contact from 2 of them for a while, as such I am looking to replace their characters.
Currently we have a Cleric, a Druid, a Sorcerer, and a Wizard. The two characters I'm looking to replace are/were a Barbarian and a Rogue.
All races on D&DBeyond are allowed, as well as all subclasses here. Dragonborn have the largest change, now having 2 subraces to choose from instead of the base race. There is also an additional subrace for the Elf, Wild Elf. (all these changes are listed below, and if any wish to use those races for the campaign, private homebrews exist for them) Ideally it would be nice to get a diverse range of classes/races. (description of the homebrew subraces can be found in the original post)
We have a variety of time zones (GMT+0 myself) and post about once per day.
Content Sharing will be on, and I have all content unlocked.
Additionally if you wish to stop playing within the game or need to take a little time off to deal with real life stuff, that's fine, but it's just common courtesy to let at least the DM know.
The characters will start at level 2 and stats will be determined by rolling once the players have been decided. (For those who don't know, the rolling method is 4d6, dropping the lowest die for each stat)
Please post your applications below with the following template:

The Campaign thread is linked below. The spoiler in the 1st post has the world information in it.
After the party arrived (separately) in the small town of Deford after dusk a band of Orcs and Goblins attacked and pillaged the town. The party fought the Orcs and Goblins back from the crowded inn, but before they could move forward to clear the rest of the town, a deafening horn caused all but the party to collapse, holding their head in pain. Shortly after the horn was heard some sort of giant with lightning sparking off of it strode into town. It was found to be an illusion, but by that time the Orcs and Goblins had retreated from the town with several of the townsfolk, treasures, and farm animals. The party spent the night at the inn to recover their strength and set out after them at first light...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Hey there! I'm definitely interested. I'm going to roll the stats here and see what I come up with just to get some inspiration. If you want me to reroll them since you originally requested to wait, that's fine too.
Ability scores: 171212111015
Edit: Uhhh a 4? I'm going to re-roll that if you're okay with it. That's too much of a penalty to handle, I think. I'll go with it if I have to, but I'm going to throw down an additional roll just in case
Character Class - Fighter (Planning on arcane archer)
Background -Noble
Brief Backstory - Elroy grew up in a noble family being taught bowman-ship as a hobby he didn't know one day it would be all he had left. When he was around 16 his family was attacked and his home burned. He was able to escape in an underground tunnel with what he could after he made it to the woods surrounding his house he looked back seeing the goblins and some orcs celebrating he then looks over what he had grabbed, he had his bow some leather armor and the two swords he had started training with and a backpack he had packed for a family trip with his scroll of pedigree his ring and some gold. He continued into the woods hiding his face when he was close to his home but as he got farther he started showing his face more. He hunted for most of his food improving his bow skills and selling the skins for more money. He was not in the town when the goblins and orcs attacked but he came back after a day of hunting to find the town in a sad state going to the inn he heard the story and found the party but as it was late he decided to wait until morning to confront them.

(If you'd be alright with it I'd like to reroll one of the 8s 14 )
Human (sorcerer), Elf (Wizard), Tortle (Cleric), Aarakocra(special case) (Druid).
Multi-classing is allowed.
Both of those rolls are fine and don't need any re-rolling. The 4 gives something your character has neglected in favour of other focuses. (also these don't include racial bonuses)
Brief Backstory - Ethos was raised in a clan of others like him: Tieflings. His kin had long kept the secret to the power flowing in their blood, for many coveted the key to those rites! When he came of age, the history and tradition of his people were engraved forever on his flesh through ritualistic tattooing and scarring. Just in time, too, as his clan was beset with war and ravaged. All but he were wiped out, leaving himself, just a boy at the time, to fend for himself and carry on the legacy of his people. His original was discarded, and he declared himself Ethos for the spirit of his kin weighed heavily upon his shoulders.
Brief Backstory - Jatrin ancestors left the dragon isle when they where hired to fight in the human wars. It was quickly established to the human that these dragonborns where natural fighters. However when wars started to scale down so did the dragonborns company (which was named "Stormborn") until it got disbanded. Some joined other races army or became guards or slay monsters for money Jatrin was one of them. His mother always told him to protect those who he hold precious and his father teached him how to slay those who dare wronged him.
I'm going to go ahead and roll first if that's okay. If there are any really good or really bad numbers I'll want to incorporate them when I'm writing backstory.

Character Name - Tailine
Character Race - Tiefling
Character Class - Rogue (planning on Inquisitive subclass)
Background - Urchin
Brief Backstory -
( I read your post about the world and the Dark Lands sound cool. I wanted to make a character from there.)
Tailine doesn't remember much of her birth parents. Most of what she remembers is the underfunded orphanage where she spent her early years, and then the streets she fled to when the hostility at the orphanage got to be too much. Tailine had to learn quickly to survive- mostly by picking pockets and snatching food when no one was looking. The Dark Lands were a dangerous place to live and she had to quickly learn by looking who might be a supernatural creature that could take her head off in a single blow.
One day she stole from the wrong person and got caught. They were an older tiefling, a bounty hunter named Strife. He saw potential and decided to take her on as an apprentice instead of turning her in to the guard. He was not a kind man, but taught her how to survive in the Dark Lands.
She has grown into a quiet, observant, and cautious woman who is not entirely used to the sunlight of the wider world outside her homeland.
Character Race - Dragonborn ( Pure born ) ( Do you have the subrace created or should I create it? )
Character Class - Paladin
Background - Knight
Brief Backstory -
The dragons weren't concern about the news of great orc bands romaing the lands of humans and dwarves. The reports of diplomats and spies in the continent were vague and there wasn't enough proof of it for the Dragons to even consider it. Until the orcs arrive ot the Dragon Islands. They reached the most septentrional island under the cover of night, and set foot on it not too far where the first human explorers did so many years ago. History has a tendency to repeat itself, they say, and this time it was true. The orc army came in ragged boats, most of them pillaged of humans, they were half sink, but they came full of green-skinned blood thirsty warriors. Before the sunrise the first village had been pillaged and destroyed, the smoke rising to cover the sun in the dawn as the orcs walked inlad, searching for their new prey. They never found it. The dragonborn had organized a strong defence, and history repetead again. The Dragons came down and together with their children, obliterated the orc army. Not a single orc survived. Their bodies carried to their boats and the Dragons set fire to them and sink them into the ocean.
Then the Dragons started to worry. Who was behing that attack? who provided the orcs with boats? What if the rest of tthe nations learned of this and saw it as sign of weakness? But the Dragons knew there were something more behind that attack.
Serthynanthrarax, the golden dragon at command of the Fangs, the order of warriors and chosen by the Great One, called Kraytranax to his presence. She was tasked with two missions.
Oficially she was about to be sent to the continent to learn as much as she could about this orc attacks and who, if any, were behind them. Learning if there were knowledge of this attack to the Dragon Islands was important, but she must not reveal the attack. Providing clues in how to finish the orc spread was not her main goal, but a most desirable one.
And then the Dragon explained to her the other mission. The Great One and the Council of Wyrms suspects that the attack wasn't random. That night, that particular night, the patriarch of Bahamut, the Great One, was in that village. He was sent there to nurse the born of a very special dragonborn. Why this child was special to the Great One is only know by himself, but after the attack, neither the child or the patriarch were found. Still some traces of transmutation magic were found. They could have escaped, but it's more likely that they were kidnapped and teletransported away during the fight. She must find them, and retrieve them to the Dragon Islands.
It was the first thime in her life that Kraytranax were to leave the Dragon Islands, but she swore that she would not come back again without had fulfilled her mission. One way or another.
