I seen some old threads about how lands stride wont help with going through an area but I am not sure if that is correct
Plant growth "If you cast this spell using 1 action, choose a point within range. All normal plants in a 100-foot radius centered on that point become thick and overgrown. A creature moving through the area must spend 4 feet of movement for every 1 foot it moves."
It doesn't say its difficult terrain but how is not difficult terrain? All the spell does is make the plants grow as big as they naturally can in an instant and once they are grown there is no magic correct? Would detect magic detect any magic? would dispel magic dispel anything?
It seems to me land's stride will let walk through an area affected by plant growth as I don't see anything that area is magical. If I am wrong I like yo know why
I agree, I think Land's Stride lets you move through the area affected by Plant Growth unhindered. Not because it is difficult terrain but because of the "You can also pass through nonmagical plants without being slowed by them and without taking damage from them if they have thorns, spines, or a similar hazard." part.
Plant Growth doesn't create magical plants, it vitalizes present, non-magical fauna. Since its effect is instantaneous, no residual magic is left behind, the plants simply had a growth spurt.

This is a very common ruling and one I agree with, RAW and RAI. The plants are NOT magical by definition, the spell is not a concentration spell and it never implies that the effect ends.
So if you want to call them “magical plants” you’d have to imply a lot of things:
what makes Wall of Stone permanent and un-dispellable but Plant Growth not?
where does it actually say it’s magical plants?
does dispel work on a spell that creates other permanent things?
The plant growth spell creates plants...instantly. This spell combined with the base ranger (and circle of the land druid) ability can shut down a combat that is mostly melee and ground based (like with barbarians, fighters, paladins, etc.). It's a great combination and very powerful. Add to it archery, a flying beast companion, and/or the conjure animals spell (flying beasts) and a lone ranger can take out a small army.

Even better when your Druid gathers seeds acorns and whatever and uses Druid craft to make them blossom somewhere before you plant growth it.

and if you do it with roses or raspberry bushes. No pesky thorns for your ranger.

Seeds aren’t plants.
you need to make the seeds blossom first with Druidcraft.
