Seeking cover, an illusionist casts Phantasmal Force of a wall in front of him. He then uses illusory reality on it. What happens if he cast the PF on himself so that only he could see the wall? An enemy shoots an arrow at him. Does it bounce off of the wall that the enemy can't see?
Basically Illusory Reality makes part of it real for everyone, regardless of whether they see/are subject to the illusion or not.
However, you would be better off kneeling and using Minor Illusion. You can create a 5-foot wall with minor illusion which is enough to hide behind (without even crouching if a gnome or halfling) and it's a cantrip so you get the effect without of blocking attacks without needing to use a spell slot. Unless it's important for the wall to be unseen by others, I guess.

Self-inflicting Phantasmal Force is actually brilliant for this, to create a real object that's invisible/camoflaged to everyone other than yourself! Not a bad combo at all, to do something like create a door in a wall that only you can see, which looks like a wall to everyone else. Or, an invisible wall or invisible spike trap that enemies will run into.
Also... can potentially make "real" objects that break physics or behave in magical ways? If you were to Phantasmal Force a flying vehicle, for example, your mind would rationalize it so that it works the way you're seeing it, sailing on the wind or whatever without touching the ground. What becomes "real" is not "a ship-shaped object" falling out of the air, it is that ship, along with all of the rationalizations and beliefs you had about it that the illusion has imposed on you.
Other than making "real" objects that float and move in the air, I'm not sure what other physics-defying objects you could think up, depending on how animated or multi-faceted Phantasmal Force is allowed to be... but that might be a limit of my imagination and DM fiat, there's probably several angles I'm not thinking of.

Yes.

Unfortunately illusory reality specifies when you cast a spell of 1st level or higher so minor illusion doesn't work.

I'm going to make this way harder than it needs to be.
