My group and I are confused when D&D Beyond is rolling damage into Roll20 for my Longsword. It shows the damage for both single handed and 2-handed damages. (My Character Sheet)
When I roll, it give's me 1d8+5 for the Single Handed (martial) damage and a 1d10+3 for the 2-handed (versatile). They keep saying the modifier should be +5 for both or +3, but not varied and we cannot see what's making this change in order to make sure we calculate it correctly.
You have taken the Dueling Fighting Style, which gives you +2 damage for single-handed weapons. With versatile weapons it only applies when held in one hand, not two, so that's why the damage values are different.

Can someone help us understand this?

Thanks for the quick reply.
