I think this works, although it could be boring due to similarity.
All players are ritual casters and pick 2 different ritual spells each.
?) Could each player copy all spells in each other player's ritual spell book? So if 4 players, each player gains 6 additional spells (Plus 3 backup spell books to copy from if one gets destroyed). Ex: Wizard class which has a lot of lvl 1 ritual spells.
Feat requires the spells to be of the chosen class list too which is restrictive. The players would have to pick the same spell list, or spells that overlap spell lists. Idk that there are that many spells that overlap at first level. Picking the same spell lists to get more spells in each book would heavily water down the effectiveness of choosing the feat though, as that’s 4 human variants choosing to basically do the same thing without much net gain. Each player could choose 2 different rituals, but if everyone has the ability to cast the ritual and are near each other... why pay money to copy the spells 3 times?
There are 8 level 1 rituals on The wizard spell list though. Bard has 6. Cleric and Druid have 4 each.

Choose wizard.
Each get a familiar for scouting, spying, and helping action. Can also cover more ground and terrain differences.
Each can set alarms.
Each could understand languages.
Each could have a floating disk to carry their heavy objects or transport injured.
Tome-lock with book of ancient secrets Eldritch invocation. party consists of cleric, druid, and a wizard. As the party gains levels, the druid and cleric can help the warlock transcribe their rituals I to the warlocks book of shadows so that they dont have to prepare them. This would free up a lot of preparation slots for the both of them. The wizard would be free to choose any ritual spells that aren’t also on the warlocks spell list. This list includes 1st level spells comprehend languages, illusory script, unseen servant, and the 5th level spell contact other plane. The warlock could temporarily choose these spells to write them in their book and then switch them out upon leveling up. The warlocks 2 1st level rituals could two that are on the wizard or bard list but not Druid or cleric. Alarm and tensers floating disk are good candidates as they are middle of the pack. Rituals like find familiar or detect magic are too useful to not have at player levels 1 and 2.
all that being said, it’s going to be very expensive. I’m playing a war wizard build right now and I can tell you the transcription costs add up quickly, especially with no specialized school discount. I would imagine this would be similar. As such, you’d want to budget your gold by prioritizing rituals you’d like first, while balancing the rest of the parties needs. Hard to justify a couple of higher level rituals if your party needs better equipment.

At low levels this would be amazing, like levels 1 and 2. Beyond that, I think most people would have buyers remorse.
Have one guy be a wizard or tombelock and all be ritual casters
i am soup, with too many ideas (all of them very spicy) who has made sufficient homebrew material and character to last an thousand human lifetimes
