I have a vision for the proper elements in D&D. Look at them carefully, and you will notice some twists in the elements. While the elementals were created for a dangerous purpose, there's a point with them in mortal affairs. They are like the cross-over between the mortal and spiritual planes, merely servants.
My idea is to turn the D&D elements into the 10 element system using the Eidolons, then introduce tiers to such, classing those 10 as tier 1/5, and growing from there.
But there's a catch to this. The purpose of the Eidolons is two fold, based on the mortal's ways. The first is to protect the D&D realms from the apocalypse, but the 2nd is to overthrow the gods and help the mortals to ascend to the astral sea.
This would come at a catch, however. To do so, one mortal must find a way to bond with techno, forbidden, and ultima.
But to do THAT.. absolute case. They must overcome all three of these hazards:
too corrupted to even try
a totally useless venture
guaranteed to drive them insane.
But that's besides the point. The proper elements, in my lore, would be to make D&D governed by these 10:
Fire
Lightning
Ice
Wind
Water
Earth
Light
Dark
War
Mystic
Now, to clean this way, SKILLS and MAGICS will need to be divided, and the wind element must avenge itself of the ICE... causing it to reduce and cause the healing elements in water to emerge. Once the water element emerges, a war between the dwarves and gnomes would be inevitable, leading to solarian blood found in the leviathans, and 3 variants of D&D would emerge: 8 elements, 10 elements, 12 nations.
Beware, the corrupted 12 nations variant would have no gods AND eidolons, due to the fact that humans would take the Eidolon powers, and add it to their own ways. But this hinges on the patrons marrying the Eidolons, and the children would turn against them. This would tie into the council of the 12. And those 12 nations would remain in power forever.

This statement is meant to be both provocative and condescending. Look at these pathetic huddled masses in their private and closed games, cringing behind the policy of no homebrews and no custom content. This is an insult and injury even to fire types. HEED THIS! Your better off playing rpgmaker. It's everything this place wants to be when it grows up. Seriously. Otherwise, good luck, they will overdo things. All because of safety and security... kor.
