Favoured enemy must be giants. Favoured terrain would depend on a specific type of giant (explained later). Ability scores: I would put 15 into dex, 14 into wisdom, 13 into strength/intelligence/charisma, 12 into con, 10 strength/intelligence/charisma and 8 into whatever is left. That gives you 16 dex, 14 con and wisdom. Then however you put the last ones. Backstory: something to do with foster parents as the giants. Maybe stone giants as they are the nicest. I could see storm giant working. E.g they have trained you to be the best fighter while having control over the elements. Weapons: longbow and dual wield shortswords. If your strength is 13 then wielding a longsword could be a good idea. Taking leather armour then getting studded leather later is a good idea. Fighting style: dueling if you are taking a longsword. Obviously dual wielding if you duel wield shortswords. But archery can be a great pick and tactic. Cast levitate, then shoot arrows down. This is best saved, as it requires a rest (can't remember if it's short or long). Archetype: I like the idea of hunter, as you can choose your style in it. I also think that swarmkeeper is fun. Flavour the swarm as wisps of air, kinda like blue/white will'o'wisps. This is cool, as it works with my example of the storm giant training you to be the best warrior with control over the elements. Hope this helped you!

'The Cleverness of mushrooms always surprises me!' - Ivern Bramblefoot.
Your welcome! Although not related, I came up with an air genasi monster slayer. They were very studious, learning everything they could about dark magics and how to combat them. It would be hard to fit in with giants though, that's why I didn't mention it.
