Never been good at this, I currently have a scourge aasimar who was abducted at birth by Lynkhab, then trained to serve her and eventually spread her intent bacl towards the material plane. I know that Aasimars have their celestial guide but i just jave no clue if he should have one. Maybe once he was in the abyss the guide assumed him dead? Perhaps his mind too twisted by the depths to follow his origional purpose? Dont know what to do there, this is a player character in my game not someone i made lol
Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.

Sounds like you're trying to do all the heavy lifting, talk to the player feel them out on what kind of story they want to tell.
